Army Cap and Beret
We manufacture berets and formal service caps and export them in bulk and against tender to defence ministries, police services, national guards and authorised government buyers across Africa.
The range covers wool and wool-blend berets in service colours, leather and synthetic headbands, lined and unlined crowns, peaked service and parade caps with embroidered peaks, forage and side caps, cap badges and backing patches, and the chin straps, cords and badge fittings that go with them.
A beret is judged on how it shapes, and that is a function of the wool. Good wool felt wets, moulds to the head and holds the shape a soldier gives it for years; poor felt never takes a shape, stays domed and looks wrong on every parade. There is no way to correct it afterwards, which is why beret quality is the one uniform item soldiers complain about most and the one most often bought on price.
Headband material decides comfort and sweat tolerance. Leather softens to the wearer and lasts; synthetic bands are cheaper and crack, usually at the back where they are stitched.
Badge fitting should match the badge your service already holds, since a backing patch cut for one badge shape will not sit correctly behind another.
Colour consistency across a batch matters on parade more than anything else, so dye lots are kept together per order.
Defence procurement across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda makes up most demand. Supply is to government and authorised buyers only, against the required end user documentation.
