Nuts Processing Machine

Nuts Processing Machine

We supply nut processing machinery to processors, cooperatives and export-focused plants across Africa, with cashew the dominant line and groundnut, shea and macadamia close behind.

The range covers cleaning and destoning, steam or drum roasting, shelling and cracking, separation of kernel from shell, drying and conditioning, peeling by mechanical or hot-air method, grading by size and colour, sorting belts, and vacuum or nitrogen flush packing. Capacities run from small cooperative units to plants handling several tonnes an hour.

Whole kernel percentage is the number that decides the economics. A broken kernel sells for a fraction of a whole one, so shelling and peeling settings matter more than nameplate capacity, and a machine that runs fast while breaking twenty per cent of the crop loses money against a slower one that does not. We size equipment against nut variety, moisture content and grade, and we would rather quote a smaller plant that keeps the kernels intact.

Tanzania, Côte d'Ivoire, Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique and Benin account for most enquiries, much of it from processors moving from exporting raw nuts to processing locally, which is where the value is. Those projects are often donor-backed or state-supported and are quoted with the full tender file.

Plants include layout, utility schedules, installation guidance, commissioning and operator training, with drawings, manuals and spare parts lists on shipment.
