We supply drilling rigs and equipment to water well contractors, mining exploration companies, geotechnical consultants and government water departments across Africa.

The range covers water well drilling rigs in rotary, DTH and mud rotary configurations, truck and crawler mounted, core drilling rigs for exploration, geotechnical and foundation drilling rigs, air compressors and boosters, mud pumps, drill rods, bits, hammers and casing.

The rig must match the geology. Hard rock demands down-the-hole hammer drilling with adequate air; unconsolidated sands and clays need mud rotary with casing to keep the hole open; alternating formations need a rig that can do both. A rig bought for the wrong ground either drills slowly or cannot complete the hole, and across most of the region the geology varies enough that this needs establishing before purchase, not after.

Compressor capacity is the specification most often underestimated. DTH drilling depends on air volume and pressure to drive the hammer and lift cuttings, and an undersized compressor limits depth regardless of how good the rig is. We size the air package with the rig rather than treating it as an accessory.

Rural water supply programmes, borehole contractors and mineral exploration across Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Ethiopia account for most demand, much of it donor-funded and tendered.
