Files
We manufacture engineering and workshop files in bulk for tool distributors, fabrication shops and institutional buyers across South Asia, shipping through Chattogram, Colombo and onward to Kathmandu by road from Kolkata.
The range covers flat, half round, round, square, triangular and knife files in lengths from 100 to 400 millimetres, in bastard, second cut and smooth grades. Needle file sets for fine work, riffler files for shaped surfaces, warding files for locksmithing, and chainsaw and saw sharpening files are supplied alongside, with wooden or moulded handles or supplied bare where the buyer fits their own.
Cut quality decides how a file sells the second time. Teeth are cut on high carbon steel and hardened so the file bites rather than polishes, and the cut spacing is consistent across the face so the tool removes material evenly instead of chattering. A file that glazes over on mild steel within a week is returned, and distributors remember. We quote a stated steel and hardness, and samples are supplied against sample cost before a first bulk order so you can test the cut on your own material.
Demand across Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal comes mainly from metal fabrication, garment machinery maintenance, agricultural tool repair and the vocational training sector. Technical and polytechnic institutes buy files in sets against tender, often with a required handle type and a marked size range, while hardware distributors buy the fast-moving sizes in bulk cartons and reorder continuously. Chainsaw files move separately and seasonally where forestry and timber work is active.
Packing options run from printed sleeves and hang cards for retail through to bulk cartons and institutional sets. Private label is available at volume, with the brand stamped on the tang and printed on the packaging.
For tender supply we issue manufacturer's authorisation, country of origin documentation and a compliance statement against the bill of quantities, with the price held for the validity period the tender specifies. Letters of credit are accepted on larger orders, which is the usual instrument in these markets.
