Excavator

We supply excavators to contractors, mining operators, plant hire fleets and government works departments across Africa, from mini machines through to large tracked units.

The range covers mini excavators from 1 to 6 tonnes, midi machines from 6 to 12 tonnes, standard tracked excavators from 13 to 50 tonnes, wheeled excavators for road and urban work, long reach and demolition configurations, and the buckets, breakers, rippers and quick couplers that go with them.

Undercarriage is where the cost sits over the life of the machine, not the engine. Tracks, rollers and idlers wear against the ground conditions, and in the abrasive lateritic and rocky ground common across much of the region they wear faster than a European duty cycle would suggest. Tell us what you are digging in and we will specify the undercarriage and track shoe width accordingly, because replacing it early wipes out the saving on the purchase.

Parts availability decides everything else. A machine that cannot be serviced locally stands idle, so we quote a spare parts package with the machine covering filters, wear parts and the consumables a first year of operation needs, along with the service schedule.

Road construction, quarrying, mining support and municipal works across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Zambia and Ethiopia make up the bulk of what we ship. Machines are quoted FOB or CIF with shipping dimensions and weights stated, and for tender supply we provide the manufacturer's authorisation and compliance documentation with the bid.
