Bulldozer

We supply bulldozers to mining operators, road contractors, land development companies and government works departments across Africa, in operating weights from 60 to over 400 horsepower.

The range covers crawler dozers in standard, LGP and swamp configurations, blades in straight, semi-U, U and angle patterns, and rear attachments including single and multi shank rippers and winches.

Ground pressure is the specification most often got wrong. A standard track dozer sinks and loses traction on soft ground where an LGP machine with wider shoes works comfortably, while the same LGP machine wears out quickly on rock. Buying one machine for both conditions means it performs poorly in each, so where a fleet works across different ground it is usually better to specify two machines properly than one compromise.

Blade choice follows the task. A straight blade suits grading and short pushes, a U blade moves more material over distance, and an angle blade is for sidecasting on road formation. Ripper configuration matters where the material is hard: a single shank penetrates deeper, multi shank breaks more ground per pass.

Mining support in Zambia, Ghana and Tanzania, road and dam construction in Nigeria and Ethiopia, and land clearing across the region account for most demand. Machines ship with operating and maintenance manuals, a recommended spare parts list and a service schedule. Shipping dimensions and weights are stated on the quotation, since dozers usually need special handling and a route survey at the destination.
