Construction Double-Diaphram Plunger Pump
Construction Double-Diaphram Plunger Pump
Catalogue
We supply industrial pumps to mining operations, water utilities, construction contractors, agriculture and process industry across South America.
The range covers centrifugal pumps in end suction and split case configurations, slurry pumps for abrasive duty, submersible dewatering and sewage pumps, self-priming trash pumps for construction, borehole and vertical turbine pumps, positive displacement and diaphragm pumps, and fire pump sets.
A pump is specified by duty point, not by size. Flow rate and total head together determine the pump and the impeller, and a pump selected on flow alone runs off its curve, which wastes energy, cavitates and fails early. Send the flow, the static lift, the pipe run and the fittings and the duty point can be calculated properly rather than estimated.
Abrasion changes everything in mining duty. Slurry containing sand or ore wears an ordinary centrifugal pump out in weeks, so wet end materials, liner type and impeller design have to match the solids content and particle size. High chrome or rubber lined construction costs more and lasts many times longer on that duty.
Mining dewatering and tailings handling in Chile and Peru, municipal water supply in Colombia and Ecuador, and irrigation and construction dewatering across the region account for most demand.
Pumps are quoted with performance curves, motor rating and materials of construction stated, and ship with manuals, seal kits and a recommended spare parts list.
