Vices

We manufacture bench vices in bulk for workshop suppliers, fabrication shops, technical institutes and tender buyers across Africa, quoted by the production batch or the container.

The range covers fixed base and swivel base bench vices from 75 to 250 millimetres jaw width, heavy duty engineer's vices, pipe vices in yoke and chain pattern, machine and drill press vices, woodworking vices for bench mounting, and multi-angle vices for welding work. Replaceable jaw inserts are available in serrated steel and soft aluminium or fibre for finished work.

The casting decides everything. A grey iron body cracks the first time someone puts a pipe on the handle for extra leverage, which on a busy site happens within weeks, so our industrial lines are cast in ductile iron and the spindle is acme threaded for smooth travel under load. Jaw hardness and the depth of the anvil surface are stated on the quotation, because both are what a workshop buyer actually inspects.

Fabrication shops, mining and transport workshops and vocational training programmes across Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, Ghana and Tanzania account for the volume. Training institutes buy to a tender specification with a fixed jaw width and mounting pattern; workshops buy heavier grades and replace jaw inserts as consumables.

Vices are dense and ship efficiently, so they consolidate well into mixed containers with other workshop lines. Private label is available at volume, with your brand applied to the product and the packaging.
