Dairy Processing Plant and Machinery
We build dairy processing plants for cooperatives, private dairies and state programmes across Africa, from chilling centres through to packaged product lines.
The range covers milk reception and weighing, filtration and chilling, bulk milk coolers, storage and balance tanks, cream separators, homogenisers, plate and tubular pasteurisers, standardising and blending systems, yoghurt and fermentation tanks, cheese vats and presses, butter churns, CIP systems, and filling into pouches, bottles or cartons.
The cold chain is the part that decides success here, not the processing equipment. Milk collected in the morning and not chilled within a couple of hours arrives at the plant already spoiled, so we quote chilling centres and bulk coolers as part of the project rather than as an accessory, sized against collection volume and the distance from the collection points. A plant designed without that fails on raw material quality regardless of how good the pasteuriser is.
Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Nigeria account for most of our dairy enquiries, with cooperative and donor-funded projects common. Those are quoted with layout drawings, utility demand including steam, water and refrigeration load, installation guidance, commissioning, operator training, and the tender file the contract requires.
All product contact is food grade stainless with hygienic welding and CIP design to the standard your dairy inspectorate applies. Voltage and frequency are set for the site before build.
