Backhoe Loader

We supply backhoe loaders to contractors, municipalities, utility companies and plant hire fleets across Africa. For many buyers this is the first machine on the yard, because it does the work of two.

The range covers 2WD and 4WD machines, standard and extendable dipper arms, loader buckets with and without 4-in-1 function, backhoe buckets from 300 to 900 millimetres, and attachments including breakers, augers and pallet forks.

The economics are what make this machine popular here. An excavator and a loader are two purchases, two operators and two transport movements; a backhoe does both jobs adequately and drives itself between sites on its own wheels, which matters where low loaders are scarce or expensive. It is not as productive as either dedicated machine, and for continuous bulk work it is the wrong choice, but for utility trenching, municipal work and general contracting it is usually the right one.

Extendable dipper is worth specifying if the work includes trenching at depth or across obstacles, as it adds reach without repositioning. A 4-in-1 loader bucket adds grading and grabbing capability for a modest cost.

Water and sewer contractors, municipal works departments and general builders across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania and Uganda account for most demand. Machines ship with manuals, a spare parts list and a service schedule, and for tender supply we provide the manufacturer's authorisation and compliance file with the bid.
