Military and Police Equipment
We manufacture and supply general duty equipment for defence and police services and export it in bulk and against tender to ministries, national police services, prison services and authorised government buyers across Africa.
This heading covers the general issue items that sit outside the uniform, protective and specialist ranges listed separately: duty belts and harnesses, pouches and load carriage, handcuffs and restraints, torches and search lights, whistles and signalling equipment, field packs and kit bags, water bottles and canteens, sleeping systems, mess tins, and the webbing and fittings that tie an issue together.
A general issue is specified as a list, not as products. A service equipping two thousand new recruits needs every item on the issue sheet to arrive at the same time, because a recruit with a belt and no pouches is not equipped. We quote against the issue sheet line by line, mark clearly anything we cannot supply rather than substituting, and pack to the unit issue format so a stores officer hands over one sealed bag per recruit.
Restraints and some duty items are controlled in many destinations. Supply is to government and authorised buyers only, against the end user documentation and import permissions the destination requires, and we will say at enquiry stage where we cannot ship a line item.
Load carriage should match the webbing system already in service, since mixing attachment standards across a unit makes resupply impossible.
Defence and police procurement across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zambia accounts for most demand.
