The range covers hand held and walk through metal detectors, explosive trace detection units, under vehicle search mirrors and camera systems, baggage and parcel screening equipment, search lights and inspection kits, and the calibration and consumable items those systems need in service.

The consumables are what procurement usually underestimates. Trace detection equipment needs swabs, calibration standards and periodic servicing, and a unit supplied without a supply line for them stops being used within months. We quote the consumable schedule and the service interval with the equipment rather than leaving it to be discovered after commissioning, because equipment sitting idle for want of swabs is a common and avoidable outcome.

Operator training is part of the specification, not an optional extra. Detection equipment used by untrained staff produces false confidence, which is worse than no equipment at all. Manufacturer documentation and training requirements are provided with the quotation so the receiving agency can plan for them.

Airports, ports, government buildings and mining sites account for most procurement across the region. Tender documentation and phased delivery against the contract schedule are provided as standard.
