Refrigeration and Cold Storage Equipment

We supply refrigeration and cold storage equipment to food processors, fisheries, dairies, exporters and municipal buyers across Africa.

The range covers modular cold rooms in PUF panel construction, blast freezers and blast chillers, freezer rooms, condensing units and compressor racks, evaporators, ice plants in block and flake configuration, chilled display and storage units, and refrigerated transport bodies.

Ambient temperature is what separates a room that holds and one that struggles. A condensing unit sized on European design conditions will run continuously and still fall short at forty degrees ambient, then fail early from the duty it was never rated for. We size against the actual site conditions, the door opening frequency and the product load coming in warm, and we would rather quote a larger unit than have it fail in the second season.

Fisheries in Ghana, Senegal and Mozambique, horticulture and flower exporters in Kenya and Ethiopia, and dairy and meat processors across the region account for most of the volume. Export horticulture in particular needs the cold chain intact from field to aircraft, so pre-cooling capacity matters as much as storage volume.

Power supply is the other question worth settling early. Where the grid is unreliable, generator start-up load and compressor staging have to be designed in rather than discovered, and we will specify accordingly if you tell us. Projects include layout, insulation and panel schedules, refrigerant specification, installation guidance and commissioning.
