Pasta Processing Machines
We supply pasta production lines to food manufacturers across Africa, where pasta and instant noodle production has grown quickly as an affordable staple.
The range covers flour handling and dosing, mixers and kneaders, single and twin screw extruders with bronze or teflon dies, spreaders and cutting equipment, pre-dryers and final dryers in stick and belt configuration, cooling sections, and weighing and packing. Long goods, short goods and instant noodle lines are quoted separately because the drying section differs entirely between them.
Drying is the whole plant. Extrusion is straightforward; getting moisture out evenly without cracking or case hardening is what decides breakage rate and shelf life, and it is where cheap lines fail. Drying curves have to suit the ambient humidity at the site, which in coastal West Africa is a different problem from inland Southern Africa, so the dryer is sized and staged against local conditions rather than to a standard profile.
Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Kenya and Côte d'Ivoire account for most enquiries, with instant noodle lines particularly active given the retail price point. Die material matters commercially: bronze dies give the traditional rough surface, teflon gives a smoother finish and faster throughput, and the choice affects both the product and the running cost.
Projects include layout drawings, utility demand including steam and compressed air, installation guidance, commissioning and operator training, with full documentation on shipment.
