Ground and Underground Engineering Equipments
We supply foundation, piling and underground works equipment to civil contractors, mining operations and infrastructure projects across Africa.
The range covers rotary piling rigs, diaphragm wall grabs, pile driving hammers in hydraulic and diesel types, vibratory hammers and extractors, horizontal directional drilling rigs for pipeline and cable crossings, grouting plant, tunnelling and shaft sinking equipment, and ground improvement equipment.
Ground investigation comes before equipment selection, and skipping it is expensive. Pile type, hammer energy and rig capacity all follow from the soil profile and the design load, and a rig selected without that data is a guess. Where a project has no investigation data we would rather say so than quote a machine that may be wrong for the site.
Noise and vibration constrain the choice in built-up areas. Diesel hammers are effective and cheap to run but are unacceptable near existing structures or in urban settings, where hydraulic or vibratory methods or bored piling are required instead. That is a planning constraint as much as a technical one.
Directional drilling has changed utility installation across the region, letting contractors cross roads, rivers and existing services without excavation, which avoids the reinstatement cost and the disruption that open cut brings.
Infrastructure and building projects across Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt and South Africa account for most demand. Equipment ships with manuals, consumable and wear part packages, parts lists and operator training.
