Army Military Body Armour
We supply body armour to defence ministries, police services and authorised security agencies across Africa, against an end user certificate and the import permit required in the destination country.
The range covers soft armour vests in NIJ Level IIA, II and IIIA, hard armour plates in Level III and IV in steel, ceramic and polyethylene, plate carriers and tactical vests, overt and covert carriers, and stab and spike resistant panels for prison and custodial use.
The protection level is not a marketing figure and it should not be treated as one. A vest rated at IIIA stops handgun rounds; it does not stop rifle rounds, and the difference decides whether a plate is needed. We ask what the threat is before quoting, because the wrong level supplied against a tender is both a failed contract and a genuine risk to the people wearing it.
The specification travels with the goods. Panels are supplied with the protection level, panel construction and production lot stated on the packing list, which is what a procurement officer will ask for at technical evaluation and what a bid without it is set aside for.
Sizing, carrier configuration and colourway are produced to the contract specification, with a pre-production sample approved before the bulk run. Supply is quoted with pre-dispatch inspection photographs and phased delivery written into the proforma invoice.
