Road Roller

We supply road rollers and compaction equipment to road contractors, municipalities and plant hire fleets across South Asia, shipping through Chattogram and Colombo and overland into Nepal.

The range covers single drum vibratory rollers from 3 to 26 tonnes, double drum tandem rollers for asphalt, pneumatic tyre rollers, walk-behind and trench rollers for confined work, and plate compactors and rammers.

Compaction is specified by the material, not the machine size. Granular base needs vibratory drum compaction; cohesive clay soils need padfoot or sheepsfoot drums that knead rather than vibrate; asphalt needs static or lightly vibrating smooth drums followed by pneumatic rolling to seal the surface. Using the wrong roller produces a surface that looks compacted and fails within a season, which is a familiar outcome across the region.

Amplitude and frequency matter as much as weight. A heavy roller at the wrong amplitude can over-compact and break down aggregate, and on thin lifts it does more harm than good. We will ask about lift thickness and material before recommending.

Road rehabilitation programmes, municipal works and donor-funded infrastructure in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal account for most of the demand, much of it tendered with a specified machine class. Letters of credit are accepted on larger orders.

Machines ship with manuals, spare parts lists and service schedules, with shipping dimensions stated and operator training available with delivery.
