Maize Shelling and Grinding Equipment

We manufacture maize shelling and grinding equipment and export it in bulk and against tender to maize millers, cooperatives, food security programmes and agro-processing enterprises across Africa, where maize is the staple crop and the largest single milling demand.

The range covers manual and motorised maize shellers, thresher shellers handling cobs with husk, hammer mills and disc mills for meal, posho mills and village-scale grinding units, roller mill plants for refined maize meal, degermers for sifted grades, and the hammers, screens, plates and belts they consume.

Moisture at shelling decides the loss. Shelling cobs that are too wet damages kernels and encourages mould in storage; shelling cobs that are dry gives clean separation and storable grain. Where a programme buys shellers for smallholder use, a simple moisture meter supplied alongside pays for itself in reduced spoilage.

Grinding specification follows the market, not the machine. Whole meal from a hammer mill serves household and local trade at low capital cost; sifted refined meal for urban retail requires degerming and roller milling and a different investment entirely. A village mill and a commercial roller plant are not competing options, they serve different customers, and we would rather establish which market the output is going to before quoting.

Screens and hammers are consumables and should be ordered in quantity with the mill, since availability locally is the usual constraint on uptime.
