Chisel and Punch

We manufacture chisels and punches in bulk for construction contractors, workshops, mining suppliers and tender buyers across Africa.

The range covers cold chisels, flat and point chisels, bolster and brick chisels, plugging and mortise chisels, SDS and hex shank chisels for breakers, centre punches, pin and parallel punches, taper punches, nail sets and drift punches, supplied loose in bulk or in sets.

Heat treatment decides whether these tools are safe. A chisel hardened the whole way along mushrooms at the struck end and throws steel splinters, which is how people lose eyes on site. Ours are differentially treated, hard at the cutting edge and softer at the head so it deforms rather than shatters, and the heads are chamfered at production. That is worth stating on a quotation because it is not visible in a photograph and it is the first thing a safety officer checks.

Construction, quarrying and mining across Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, Tanzania and South Africa drive the volume, and these are consumables: contractors reorder continuously as tools are worn down or lost. Bulk cartons suit that pattern, while retail distributors take printed sleeves and hang cards.

Private label is available at volume, with size and specification marked on the tool. For tenders we supply manufacturer's authorisation, country of origin documentation and a compliance statement written against the bill of quantities.
