Army Military Ballistic Helmets

We supply ballistic helmets to defence ministries, police services and authorised agencies across Africa, against an end user certificate and the import permit the destination requires.

The range covers PASGT, MICH and high cut patterns in aramid and polyethylene, rated to NIJ Level IIIA, along with riot and public order helmets with visors, bump helmets for non-ballistic use, and the pad systems, retention harnesses, covers and accessory rails that go with them.

Shell material changes both the protection and the practicality. Polyethylene shells are lighter than aramid at the same rating, which matters over a long patrol, but they behave differently in heat and cost more. For hot climate deployment the weight saving is usually worth it, and we will say so rather than quoting whichever is cheaper.

Helmets are supplied with the protection level, shell material and production lot stated on the packing list. Pad and retention systems are fitted to the specification, and sizing is produced against the contract size roll with a pre-production sample approved before the bulk run.

Riot and public order helmets are a separate specification from ballistic helmets and are quoted separately; buying one where the other is needed is a common and serious error in tender documents, and we will flag it if the specification and the stated use do not match.

Pre-dispatch inspection photographs and phased delivery against the contract schedule are provided as standard.
