Fire Hydrant System China
We manufacture fire hydrant systems and export them in bulk and against tender to municipalities, water authorities, industrial estates, ports and housing programmes across Africa.
The range covers pillar hydrants in wet and dry barrel configuration, underground and box hydrants, landing valves and riser outlets, hose reel and hose box cabinets, two-way and four-way breeching inlets, hydrant pump sets, and the pipe, valves and fittings that link them.
The outlet coupling is the detail that decides whether a hydrant is usable. A hydrant installed with an outlet the local brigade cannot connect to is a street ornament, and the standard varies between neighbouring cities, let alone countries. We will match Storz, instantaneous, NH or round thread to whatever the responding service carries, and will supply adaptors where a network has mixed standards already.
Pressure at the most remote hydrant is the design test, not pressure at the pump. A ring main that delivers adequate pressure at the first hydrant and fails at the last one has not been sized, it has been guessed. Send the layout and the elevation differences and the pump set is specified against the worst point.
Wet barrel is the normal choice through most of the region, since the freezing conditions that make dry barrel necessary are rare, and wet barrel is simpler to maintain.
Municipalities, estates and industrial sites in Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda and Rwanda make up most demand. Systems ship with layout drawings, a parts list, spares and installation guidance.
