Relief Aid Prefabricated Units
We manufacture prefabricated units and export them to aid agencies, disaster response authorities, mining operations and infrastructure contractors across South America, supplied as single units or in camp-scale quantities.
The range covers flat-pack and folding container units, expandable container housing, sandwich panel modular buildings, prefabricated clinics, classrooms, offices and ablution blocks, dormitory units, and the insulation, electrical and plumbing packages fitted at the factory.
Flat-pack and folding units answer the same need with very different logistics. A flat-pack unit ships several to a container and is assembled on site by a small team with hand tools over a day or so; a folding unit ships fewer per container and opens in under an hour. Where the site is remote and labour is scarce, the folding unit's shipping penalty is worth paying; where a camp is being built out over weeks, flat-pack is far cheaper.
Insulation specification should follow the actual climate rather than a standard build. An uninsulated steel unit in high altitude or desert conditions is unusable for much of the day, and retrofitting insulation on site costs several times what it costs in the factory.
Foundations and levelling are usually the site's responsibility and are usually underestimated, so we supply the loading and footprint drawings with the quotation. On sloping or soft ground the groundwork can cost more than the units themselves, and it is better known before the order than after the containers arrive.
Response authorities, mining operations and contractors in Brazil, Peru, Chile, Colombia and Bolivia make up most demand. Units ship with assembly drawings, fittings and a parts list.
