Relief Aid Water Purification Tablets
We supply household water purification tablets in bulk and against tender to aid agencies, health ministries, water programmes and emergency response units across Africa.
The range covers chlorine-releasing tablets in household and bulk strengths, effervescent tablets for jerry can and bucket volumes, larger tablets for tank and reservoir treatment, flocculant-disinfectant sachets for turbid water, blister and bulk packing, and printing in the languages of the operation.
Tablet strength has to be matched to the container people actually use. A tablet dosed for a 20 litre jerry can is wrong in a 10 litre bucket, and in a household the result is either untreated water or an unpleasant taste that makes people stop using the tablets altogether. Tell us the container volume your programme distributes and we supply the matching strength rather than a general-purpose tablet.
Turbid water needs a different product entirely. Chlorine alone does little in heavily silted surface water, which is exactly what people are drinking after a flood; a combined flocculant and disinfectant sachet settles the sediment first. Programmes working in flood response should hold both.
Instructions have to be in the language and the pictograms the household reads, and we print to your artwork.
Shelf life and storage temperature should be confirmed against your own programme requirements before a large order is placed.
Emergency and water programmes across Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Chad, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo account for most demand.
