Foam Equipment China
We manufacture firefighting foam equipment and export it in bulk and against tender to refineries, tank farms, airports, fuel depots and petrochemical plants across Africa.
The range covers bladder tank proportioners, balanced pressure proportioning systems, inline foam inductors, foam concentrate pumps, foam chambers and foam makers for fixed roof tanks, high and medium expansion generators, and the concentrate itself in AFFF, AR-AFFF, protein and fluorine-free grades.
Foam type must match the fuel, and this is where foam systems most often fail in service. Standard AFFF performs on hydrocarbon fires but breaks down on polar solvents such as ethanol and methanol, which need an alcohol-resistant grade. A depot that has started blending ethanol into its fuel and kept its original foam stock has a system that will not put out the fire it was bought for. We will ask what is in the tanks before quoting the concentrate.
Proportioning accuracy matters as much as the concentrate. A system set for three per cent that actually induces one and a half produces foam that looks correct and collapses under heat, so induction should be tested on commissioning and not assumed.
The regulatory direction across the region is away from fluorinated foams, and several authorities now restrict their use and their disposal. Where a system is being specified for a twenty-year life, fluorine-free is worth costing at the outset rather than retrofitting later.
Operators in Nigeria, Angola, Ghana, Egypt and Algeria account for most demand. Systems are quoted with sizing calculations, layout drawings, commissioning and operator training.
