We manufacture firefighting water cannons for vehicle and fixed installation and export them in bulk and against tender to municipal fire services, airport rescue units, refineries and civil defence departments across Africa.

The range covers roof-mounted turrets for fire appliances, bumper and front-mounted cannons, remote joystick and panel-controlled units, manual override turrets, foam-capable heads, and high-capacity fixed cannons for tank farms and jetties, rated from 1,000 to 6,000 litres per minute.

The cannon has to be matched to the appliance pump, and this is where retrofit projects go wrong. Fitting a 6,000 litre per minute turret to a truck whose pump delivers 3,000 gains nothing and puts the operator in the position of running a device that never reaches its rated throw. Send the pump rating and tank capacity with the enquiry and the cannon is sized to the vehicle you actually have.

Remote control earns its cost on airport and fuel risks. A roof turret that can be aimed from inside the cab lets the crew work closer to a fuel fire for longer, and on an aircraft rescue appliance that is the difference between an effective first attack and a defensive one.

Water and foam switching should be specified at the outset rather than added later, since the plumbing and the proportioner sizing follow from it.

Fire services and industrial operators in Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria, Kenya and Ghana make up most demand. Cannons ship with mounting drawings, a parts list, spares and operator training.
