Relief Aid Kerosene Stove
We manufacture relief stoves and export them in bulk and against tender to aid agencies, disaster management authorities and resettlement programmes across South Asia, shipping through Chattogram and Colombo.
The range covers wick-type and pressure kerosene stoves, multi-fuel pressure stoves, portable gas stoves with regulators and hoses, fuel-efficient wood and charcoal stoves, and the wicks, burners, pump cups and spare parts they consume.
Fuel availability decides the stove, not the stove specification. Distributing kerosene stoves into an area where kerosene is scarce or unaffordable produces households that use them once and then return to open fires, and the stock has achieved nothing. The question to settle before the order is what fuel the affected population can actually buy six months from now.
Wick stoves are simple, cheap and forgiving of poor fuel quality; pressure stoves are far more efficient and need maintenance and a pump cup that eventually perishes. For a displaced population with no access to spares, the simpler stove is usually the better programme choice even though it burns more fuel.
Fuel-efficient wood stoves are worth considering where firewood collection exposes people to risk, since halving the fuel requirement halves the number of collection trips.
Spare wicks and burners should be ordered with the stoves, not after. A wick is a consumable measured in weeks of daily use, and a stove without one is a cooking pot stand. We quote a wick and burner stock sized to the distribution rather than to the machine count.
Disaster management authorities and agencies in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Myanmar make up most demand, quoted by the container.
