Measuring Equipment

We manufacture weighing and measuring equipment for packing lines and export it in bulk and against tender to food processors, agricultural packers, chemical producers and distribution operations across Africa.

The range covers multihead combination weighers from 10 to 24 heads, linear weighers, auger fillers for powders, volumetric cup fillers, liquid and piston fillers, bagging scales for 25kg and 50kg sacks, checkweighers, and the load cells, hoppers and controls they use.

Giveaway is the number that justifies this equipment. Every pack filled above its declared weight is product given away, and across a production year the total is substantial. A multihead weigher selects the combination of hoppers closest to target and typically cuts giveaway to a fraction of what a linear weigher or a manual fill achieves, which is why it pays back quickly at volume and not at all at low volume.

Product characteristics decide the filler, not the industry. Free-flowing granules suit volumetric cups; sticky or fragile product needs a multihead with gentle discharge; fine powder needs an auger because it will not flow consistently through anything else.
