Traffic Barricade Flasher Light
We manufacture barricade flasher lights and export them in bulk and against tender to road contractors, utilities, municipalities and mining operations across Africa.
The range covers battery and solar powered LED barricade lights, steady-burn and flashing modes, amber, red and white lenses, single and double sided bodies, clamp, bolt and strap mountings for cones, drums and barriers, and the batteries and lenses they consume.
Solar versus battery is a straightforward calculation and most buyers get it wrong by looking only at unit price. A battery light costs less and needs a crew member walking the works every few weeks with a box of cells; on a two kilometre closure with three hundred lights that is a scheduled job for two people. A solar light costs more once and then looks after itself. Past a few weeks of deployment, solar is cheaper.
Theft shapes the specification more than anything else on a public road. A light that unclips in a second will be gone by morning in a great many places, which is why we supply bolt-and-bracket mountings rather than clips where the site is unattended, and why buying slightly cheaper lights in larger quantity is often the realistic answer.
Flash rate and lens colour should follow whatever your roads authority already uses, so a works site reads the same as every other one.
Contractors, utilities and municipalities in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania and Zambia make up most demand, quoted by the carton or container.
