Traffic Cones
We manufacture traffic cones in our own factory in China and export them by the container to road contractors, municipalities, ministries of works, mining operations and airports across Africa.
The range covers PVC and polyethylene cones from 300mm to 1000mm, one-piece and two-piece bodies, collapsible cones for vehicle storage, reflective sleeve options in one or two bands, and weighted rubber or recycled base rings.
Base weight is what decides whether the cone is still standing an hour later. A light cone on a dual carriageway lifts in the wash of the first heavy truck, and a crew that spends its shift re-setting cones is not doing the work it was sent to do. For highway use we would specify a heavier base ring than the catalogue default, and for urban and car park work the lighter body is fine and much easier to handle.
Ultraviolet exposure is the second thing to get right. Cones in strong sun fade from orange to pale pink within a season unless the compound carries a UV stabiliser, and a faded cone stops doing its job because drivers no longer pick it out against the road. We state the stabiliser content rather than leaving it to be discovered.
Cones nest, so a container holds a great many of them. Quantities are quoted by the container load and the nesting count is confirmed before you commit.
Road programmes and municipalities in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Zambia account for most demand, with your own logo moulded in at volume.
