Traffic Convex Mirrors

We manufacture convex traffic and safety mirrors and export them in bulk to municipalities, car park operators, warehouse companies and building managers across South Asia.

The range covers acrylic and polycarbonate convex mirrors from 450mm to 1000mm diameter, indoor and outdoor grades, half-dome and full-dome types for corridors and aisles, mirrors with weather hoods, wall and pole mounting brackets, and adjustable ball joints.

Diameter has to be chosen against viewing distance, and this is where most orders go wrong. A 600mm mirror reads clearly at about 9 metres and becomes useless at 20; buyers order the size that fits the budget and then find drivers ignoring a mirror they cannot resolve. Tell us the distance from the mirror to the driver's eye at the decision point and the diameter follows from it.

Material is a trade-off worth making deliberately. Acrylic gives the sharper, brighter image and is the better mirror; polycarbonate is slightly duller and does not shatter, which matters anywhere it can be struck by a forklift or vandalised. For an exposed junction we would specify polycarbonate and accept the loss of image quality.

A weather hood extends useful life considerably outdoors. It keeps rain off the face, which is what makes an uncovered mirror unreadable in exactly the conditions where it is needed most.

Municipalities, warehouses and car park operators in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Myanmar account for most demand. Mirrors ship with brackets and fixings, quoted by the carton or pallet.
