Traffic Delineator Posts
We manufacture roadside delineator posts and export them in bulk and against tender to highway authorities, road contractors and ministries of works across Africa.
The range covers ground-driven and socket-mounted delineator posts from 1000mm to 1500mm, HDPE and PVC bodies, white, orange and yellow finishes, single and double reflective bands in white, red and amber, and the driving caps, sockets and anchors they install with.
These are the tall posts that run along the verge and show a driver where the road goes before the headlights reach it. That is a different job from the short bolt-down markers used inside a works zone, which are listed separately as tubular markers, and from the surface-mounted lane delineators used to separate traffic on an urban carriageway.
Spacing does more for safety than the post specification does. On a straight, posts at wide intervals are enough to hold the alignment; through a curve the interval has to tighten considerably or the line of posts reads as a straight edge and pulls drivers towards the outside of the bend. We will work the spacing schedule from your alignment drawing rather than quote a flat quantity per kilometre.
HDPE recovers its shape after a glancing strike and after being flattened by a grader; PVC is cheaper and cracks instead, which on a verge that gets mown is a short life.
Highway authorities and contractors in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zambia make up most demand, quoted by the container with reflective banding to your standard.
