Traffic Flexible Tubular Marker

We manufacture flexible tubular markers and export them in bulk to road contractors, utilities, municipalities and event operators across Africa.

The range covers tubular markers from 450mm to 1150mm, bolt-down and adhesive-base versions, weighted removable bases, reflective sleeves in one or two bands, hinged and spring recovery types, and the base plates, anchors and sleeves they use.

Tubular markers are the short, bolt-down units used inside a works zone to channel traffic through a taper or hold a lane closed. They do the job cones do, and they do it for weeks rather than hours, because they are fixed down and cannot be kicked aside, blown over or taken home. On any closure lasting more than a few days they work out cheaper than replacing cones.

They are a different product from the tall roadside delineator posts listed separately, which mark the edge of an open road, and from the lane delineators used to separate traffic permanently.

Sleeve retention is the weak point. A reflective sleeve that slides down the tube after a few impacts leaves a marker that is invisible at night but still standing, which is more dangerous than no marker, because the lane still looks closed to daytime traffic and open to nobody at night. Bonded sleeves rather than slip-on ones are worth the difference.

Road contractors and utilities in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania and Uganda account for most demand, quoted by the container with spare sleeves.
