Traffic Flexible Guide Post

We manufacture flexible guide posts and export them in bulk and against tender to highway authorities, mining operations, road contractors and industrial estates across Africa.

The range covers self-righting guide posts from 750mm to 1500mm, spring-base and elastomer-base designs, surface-bolted and socket-set versions, reflective banding in one or two rings, and the base plates, anchors and replacement springs they use.

A flexible guide post is a delineator post that survives being hit. Where a standard roadside post is knocked flat and stays flat until a crew replaces it, a flexible post folds under the wheel and stands back up, which on a haul road or an unsealed rural route is the difference between marking the alignment all year and marking it for a month. The roadside delineator posts listed separately are the right choice where impact is unlikely and cost per unit matters more.

Recovery is the specification that counts, and it has two halves: the angle the post returns from, and how many times it can do it. A post that self-rights from 90 degrees twenty times and then stays bent has not solved the problem, it has postponed it. We state the repeat impact figure rather than only the recovery angle.

Base choice follows the surface. Bolted bases suit sealed road; socket bases suit gravel and haul roads where the ground moves.

Mining operations and highway contractors in Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, Tanzania and Kenya account for most demand, with spare springs quoted alongside.
